Metaxas® Ethereal Headphone Amp

Aiming to connect exclusive hi-fi with special designs, Metaxas & Sins presents the the extraordinary, sculptural headphone amplifier Ethereal.

The headphone amplifier, which resembles a bust or even half a human, is designed for electrostatic models, and according to Metaxas & Sins, should work well with most high-end headphones – the company's own "X1" headphones are to be launched by boss and designer Kostas Metaxas in the future. The sides of the head of the Ethereal are built so that they can also be used as headphone holders.

Inside the housing with complex shapes milled by a CNC machine, a headphone amplifier works, which is high-frequency and interference-free as well as made specifically for electrostatic heaphones, according to Metaxas. The amp is completely balanced in a dual-mono configuration and is said to deliver high performance with extremely low noise.
